INFOmatch international User Group Meeting and Screen Event Amsterdam 2012
AMSTERDAM, September 28, 2012 – On September 26, INFOmatch’s International User Group Meeting again took place, which was very well attended with over 30 clients from The Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Spain and United Kingdom. The luxurious 5-star hotel NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam served as the event’s venue.
The objectives of these User Group meetings are to update users about new developments & functionalities, future plans and industry trends. In addition it is an excellent platform creating direct interaction and exchange of information between clients and Screen staff. It allows customers a perfect forum in which to express their requirements and give a wish list for new functionality, interfaces and reports.
The morning started with 2 interactive workshops, which are primarily targeted at people using INFOmatch in supporting their daily tasks managing market data. Both workshops were fully booked, which again shows that INFOmatch serves a very lively and inquisitive user community. Themes of the workshops were defined as “Visualise your market data environment with Web Analytics and optimise your workflow through Self Certification & User Tasks” and “Manage your allocations more efficiently by using the Allocation Rules module & Allocation Profiles”.
The beginning of the afternoon was reserved to present and discuss the upcoming new INFOmatch release, in particular new functionality related to contract management, interfacing and cost allocating. After a short break the session was continued with a panel discussion, interactive user group discussions and the filling out of client surveys. The meeting was closed with informal drinks & dinner in the evening. It was a very fruitful and interactive day. We received lots of valuable feedback and input, which will be used by us to prioritise and detail our future software development path, support and service offering.
The next day, September 27, the Screen Group was also present at the Screen Event Amsterdam 2012. This products and services event for the European professional financial services community was already celebrating its 20th anniversary. The Screen Group booth was well visited by customers, business relations and passers-by that were curious to learn more about Screen’s in-house developed cost & contract management system, INFOmatch, and its latest features related to demand management (web analytics & self certification), cost allocating, drill down reporting, budgeting and compliance. Furthermore, they showed a serious interest in Screen’s leading consultancy practice dealing with market & reference data and investment management advisory services.
Central theme of this year’s event was defined as “Dealing with uncertainty: new realities in the financial information services industry”. Highlights of the day included two panel discussions involving business executives from vendor organisations as well as experts from user organisations, who reviewed latest developments regarding increased regulation, legislation and data centralisation.
The one-day event turned out to be a perfect platform to learn more about the latest trends in technology for the professional investment industry. In addition to this it again provided excellent networking and B2B opportunities.
