Market Data User Group launched in Hong Kong
AMSTERDAM and HONG KONG, November 23, 2006 – Hong Kong is poised to claim another first: launching Asia’s first market data support and user group called Market Data User Group (the User Group). The User Group will hold its first meeting at 6.30 pm on Thursday, November 23, 2006, at the Reuters Office, 42/F, Gloucester Tower, Central, Hong Kong.
Antony Choi, Director, Market Data Consultants Ltd (MDC) which represents INFOmatch in the Asian market, said, “We hope through the network being built by the User Group, there will be a better exchange of information among financial institutions in Hong Kong and in Asia in matters related to market data.”
The User Group is open to all financial institutions who are interested in sharing their experience in handling tasks related to market data, and in finding best of breed solutions for such tasks.
