Screen hires Jackson for US market data support & business growth
NEW YORK and AMSTERDAM, October 18, 2010 – Screen, a leading market data and investment management solutions and consultancy company, has hired Zarina Jackson. Based in New York, Jackson will provide the North American market with relationship management and client support for Screen’s in-house developed and supported market data inventory management software, INFOmatch. This innovative cost & contract management system is being used by firms in the investment management, banking, energy and commodity business around the globe. It supports business critical processes, such as: user based cost allocation, (market & reference data) inventory tracking, contract management, invoice forecasting and automatic reconciliation, budgeting, permissioning & entitlements and business & vendor reporting. INFOmatch creates transparency, both to the internal organisation and to third parties. The software enables firms to be fully compliant with their market data suppliers’ business rules by making sure they are not exposed to the risk of underpayments and fines as a result of audits by having the correct permissioning data stored in a central database, including all history.
Jackson has great experience in the market data and consultancy business. Prior to joining Screen, Jackson worked as account executive at rival software vendor MDSL, prior to which she was a senior auditor at exchange data audit specialist MicroRose, and a market data analyst at Jordan & Jordan, having also spent seven years in Reuters America’s client training division. At Screen, she reports to Screen’s managing director Peter Fruitema. ”The hire of Zarina is part of our international expansion strategy. A significant increase in demand for professional market data management and a growing INFOmatch sales pipeline necessitated regional presence”, says Fruitema.
Fruitema continues: “Zarina is really familiar with the US market and has an excellent record in professionally managing market data. Both qualifications are a must to succeed in this market. She has the capabilities to understand the main challenges of our clients and business processes of the financial institutes. This combination makes her the ideal person to grow our company to a higher plan and to bring added value. We are delighted to have Zarina on board.” Jackson adds: “As INFOmatch is really quite flexible, Screen will be able to immediately leap on to specific requirements for the US market.”
The hire of Zarina Jackson follows recent announcements of further international expansions. Last year Screen INFOmatch started strategic partnerships with both DNA Financial Systems Limited (Hong Kong) and Audco Technologies (Quebec, Canada). Screen also has offices in Amsterdam, Stockholm, London, Frankfurt, Paris, Barcelona, Lugano, Sydney, Tunis and Tokyo.
